Timor-Leste, the small island nation north of Australia, is one of the world’s youngest countries — and one of the Ocean’s best-kept secrets. Years of isolation have helped preserve an extraordinary natural heritage, from pristine coral reefs and tropical forests to some of the largest saltwater crocodiles on Earth.

Our film takes us on a journey through the spectacular wildlife of Timor-Leste, where enormous whales migrate through its waters, vibrant coral reefs harbour an exceptional diversity of marine life, and ancient cultures remain closely connected to nature. The island is also home to rare and elusive species found nowhere else.
