Curaçao Divers
Tired of overcrowded dive sites and strict schedules? Come scuba diving on Curaçao, Netherland Antilles, in the Caribbean, where you can dive independently whenever and as long as YOU want!
The vibrant Caribbean island is surrounded by a fringing reef close to the coast, so diving is mainly shore diving straight from the beach. Simply pack your dive gear and tanks into your rental car and drive to one of approx. 60 dive sites around the island. On some beaches, there will be restaurants, sun bed rentals, dive centers with washing basins for dive gear, toilets and showers, whereas others are beautifully deserted, so if you’re lucky, you’ll have a paradise bay all for yourself.
Most dives on Curaçao are easy dives, so you and your buddy can go exploring all by yourselves spend the diving days just as you like! Divers with only little experience can book guided dives with Curaçao Divers as well.
Visitors can expect a warm and sunny climate all year and clear Caribbean water with temperatures around 27°C, healthy reefs with colourful soft and hard corals and rich marine life. Chances are good to see eagle rays or turtles, and don’t forget to look for the small stuff like sea horses or pretty nudibranches! The dive center Curaçao Divers is run by Harald Weinrich and operates since 1999. It is centrally located in Boca St. Michiel, from where it is only a short drive to the capital Willemstad, the airport and max. 45 minutes to all the dive sites.
