Music video for Sea Shepherd Conservation Society February 14, 2015
Sea Shepherd Germany, The Jetlagged and Inlegend just shot a very special music video together!
It all started with a phone call from Anne, our good friend at Sea Shepherd Germany. She was contacted by a band that had written a song with a strong environmental message called “Empty Place”. Being Sea Shepherd supporters themselves, they offered Sea Shepherd Germany to shoot a special themed music video for them. Anne immediately told them she knew just the right film makers for this task!
After a productive brainstorming meeting in Berlin, Sea Shepherd Germany posted a call to action for music video extras – we needed as many kids as we could get! Only 3 weeks later, children and parents and activists from all over Germany came together on a very cold November weekend at the Baltic Sea to make this very special video happen.
Not only they were passionate putting a strong message out for the protection of the oceans, also the whole city of Warnemünde and lots of local enterprises helped us in the best way we could have imagined. Numerous beach goers stopped and showed us their support for our cause. A big thank you goes out to all of them!
